Incheon is another choice I could apply to but I'm guessing it will be more competitive, especially for someone as "green" as I am. I will have my TEFL (100hrs) but that's about it.

At this point, I'm more concerned with getting the job than a preferred location, but I'm still curious which province would you prefer for and why?

Chungnam is a great place to land in Korea in my opinion. The Korean food tastes good, it goes at a slower pace and it's not far from Daejeon and Seoul. Also, there are a lot of parks nearby. Gyeongsangnamdo is exceptionally pretty in places, but the people are colder and more judgemental. I would actually recommend staying away from Changwon.

I'm in Chungnam myself and quite like it here. Food's really cheap, easy to save money, Daejeon and Seoul are relatively close, and the people seem really friendly (most of the time).
