The boss wants to cut me back to part-time, which is useless for the money deal. Not enough students, and also wants to hire a Korean to teach the lower levels. So I guess I'll be out of work real soon. Thinking, hmmm... what to do? Two part-time jobs? Doesn't sound like it would work. My location isn't so good for that anyway. Just get another job I guess. In Korea? Hmmm... a change sounds good. |

Would he give you a letter of release so you could legally get another job? |

It's a substantial change in the contract and I'm pretty sure the labor board would allow one to get out of that contract.
But jajdude seems like he's about to pack it in anyway with a couple months left on his contract. |

Actually there Juggertha I think you found an old post of mine from around last November or before.
Yeah I'm sure she will give me a letter of release as she mainly says she can't afford the 3 native speakers. Being the senior, I get the boot LOL.
Thinking of visiting Vietnam for a potential job. Just show up somewhere I've never been before, knowing nobody, knowing no language.... should be fun. |

That actually sounds really cool! Just stay away from some of those old border zones. Still a quite few land mines over that way. |
