I know a few people working for this company and it is REAL BAD!!! The Directors are corrupt people who coerce you into signing a contract they break as soon as you start working for them. The contract is very low paid (1.7) -you do illegal outsourcing and are expected to work up to 45 hours a week! The recruiters that help you sign this contract are only money hungry and offer VERY little support!!! |

If it is that bad maybe they would post about it. Perhaps you could stick to attacking the schools you've worked for (if any) instead of giving us secondhand information. |

No doubt. I swear to god that I'm on a crusade or something, as this is the 3rd straight blacklist thread that I've replied to and tried to rationalize for people who may be looking for solid research.
How about this:
WARNING- STAY AWAY FROM BLACKLIST THREADS STARTED BY TEACHERS WHO HAVE NEVER WORKED AT THE SCHOOL AND ARE POSTING 2ND HAND INFO!!!
for that matter,
STAY AWAY FROM ANY BLACKLIST THREADS FROM TEACHERS WHO WILL NOT OFFER UP CONTACT INFORMATION (VIA PM OR EMAIL) OF THE SCHOOL OR 3RD PARTY WITNESSES WHO CAN CORROBORATE THE ACCUSATIONS. |

Why would anyone with half a brain, let alone a college degree, agree to work for 1.7?!?!?!? Up to 45 hours a week!
What are they teaching in college these days? Damm sure common sense is not being taught!
Before signing a contract, surely you are reading it?! And if the school does not honor it, leave immediately! If not sooner. |

Hmm,
I don't know why, maybe it's the cynic in me, but whenever I read one of these threads about a 'friend's' bad job, I often assume the poster is actually the friend and just wants to distance him/her self from the post. Plausible deniability, and all that.
It would seem foolhardy to totally dismiss a warning post like Chopstix's because of the second-hand nature of his information. All things being equal, however, perhaps the information needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Corroboration would be good. |

Know about a 1/2 dozen people working for a variety of Edu-towns. All seem happy. They specialize in one on one teaching...and you do get farmed out...but that is all right there in contract. Salary has never been that low with any of the teachers that I have talked to. |
