The constant smoke smell gave me a headache today I had to close the windows. The air is so white I can hardly make out the buildings down the block. I thought it was just in my area in Bucheon and Incheon but my wife said it was in Seoul too. Anyone know what it is?

Its obviously the 황사 season but I have never seen it this bad. I check the dust readings everyday as photography is one of my hobbies and I have never, in 2 years of checking these readings, seen Seoul as it is now (338mg). Absolutely insane.

Last year was pretty much yellow dust free but in 2011 we had some bad hits: 400, 500+ in Seoul in March and early May.

In my area there was a lot of field-burning for unknown-to-me agricultural reasons.

I attributed the TOTALLY HORRENDOUS air quality to that + humidity + an already bad air quality day.
