my girlfriend and i found somebodys abandoned pet rabbit in olympic park last weekend and were looking to find him a new good home. weve brought him to the vet and got him back and after a teeth trimming, and some medecine hes going to be totally fine. hes a boy, not fixed, and about a year old. hes very sweet and affectionate and doesnt just hide all the time. hes somewhat litter trained (pees in the litter, but not poops yet). we really wanted to take him back to canada with us but we just found out were leaving much sooner then we expected so theres no way the paperwork can go through in enough time. heres a link the CL post with a pic of the little guy:

Man, you clearly aren't from the Maritimes. I would have chopped up some potatoes, carrots and onions and made stew if I had found it.

Just kidding.

That's a really cute rabbit. Must have been abandoned because I can't imagine how it could have escaped from an apartment.

Rabbits are great pets. I have had several. Quiet, non intrusive. Hope someone takes your little fella.

Har-har. We've heard that one.

In every animal discussion someone says that.

+1 to Rollo: rabbits are pretty good pets. The really tame ones love to be pet and cuddle. Just watch the power cords! They can chew them.

Had a girlfriend who had a friendly rabbit. I knew we were doomed when I found the rabbit more fun than her.

Who would live with a rabbit trapped in some little tiny apartment? Thing has got to smell.

Rabbits are very clean and don't really smell.

But if you wait too long to change their litter, it can start to smell like ammonia. But it's better than cat litter smell that's for sure!
