Hyeonseo Lee paints an emotional and powerful picture of the life that lead to her struggle to leave North Korea. She later supported her family to do the same and now is an activist for korean refugees. If you havent seen this already, its quite inspirational and eye opening.

The un have also just declared that they are about to begin investigations into human rights abuses. They will be using refugees and former citizens (as well as satellite imagery) as witnesses as access to north korea is expected to be denied.
