Three broadcasters -- KBS, MBC and YTN, three banks -- Shinhan, Nonghyup and Jeju, and two insurance firms reported to the National Police Agency (NPA) that their computer networks were entirely halted around 2 p.m. for unknown reasons, police said. Woori Bank, a leading lender in Seoul, also came under an apparent hacking attack at the same time but managed to defend its computer networks through an internal system.

Attacking a nation's banking system - pretty close to a declaration of war, IMO.

Yup. And the attacks occured just as CNN was reporting B52s flying over South Korea. The question is: Was that a message being sent back and by who? The Chinese have as much to feel uncomfortable from those B52s as the Norks do.

It is pretty much an act of war. Except for MBC. That was just civic responsibility Smile

I'm sorry but how is any of this going to affect life at school tomorrow?

A few computers froze and somebody mentioned something about an airplane flying around. I don't see what the big deal is.

I think Beijing was just showing that the next ime it could be air traffic control or the transportation grid or the electrical grid. A little flexing on both sides. Before negotiations begin.
