I did my first year at SLP. I was actually at one of the good ones, but I'd never work there again. I can't imagine what folx at the bad ones go through (or, rather, I can by reading the multitude of threads/horror stories on this forum).
2.7 from them? That's Poly money, I wouldn't keep my hopes up on getting that, even 2.5 seems high unless you're a licensed teacher or have a lotta experience or something.
If you're truly desperate, you could do worse. But you will have to work work work. On the plus side, you shouldn't have any problems with pay and your apartment.
If you can hold out for something else, you definitely should. I'm no fan of SLP, and a lot of people on this forum trash them pretty badly, but, all said, you could do a lot worse, too. |
