Having a kid moment here....Actually, i have quiet a few of them. Anyways, bare with me.

I love the little BB guns you can buy in the shops, but has anyone ever had a GOOD one?? Like a battery powered, fully automatic one?? Do they work well?? Where can you get them, and how much do they cost??

You need to get one off the internet with multiple CO2 canisters. You can get disposable CO2 canisters in a lot of kits. I'm not too sure where you can by these in person, as Lotte Mart and other places that sell the guns only seem to sell the spring powered ones.

Like most things in Korea, their air-soft guns are pure crap. You
CAN'T import and air-soft gun. Guns in Korea, by law, are restricted
to under 200fps. Whereas the global standard is 400fps. 200fps
gives an accurate range of under 5m. Like I said, crap.

Pellet guns are a different story, but a mighty whitey will NEVER get
a license to own one.

Stick to drinking.

Hahaha....Ya, but I was just looking for something to do in between the drinks.

Actually I somehow found a site (www.toystar.co.kr) and they have some....Ones around 80,000won I think are pump style (like pellet guns at home), and then there are some electric guns (link only works in Internet Explorer) that are 200,000won and over. Unfortunately, they don't give any specs on the guns. Crying or Very sad

I bought a small, single action airsoft gun at a school supply shop. I see them in many school supply shops.

Those guns are fun, pure crap or not. I wanted to get some people together before and just play around with the guns. I bought some cheap glasses, guns and extra pellets...

Kid moments are sometimes OK to give into... it's just when you never stop yourself that you become one of the "bad ajjoshi"

Just cause you can't shoot doesn't mean other people can't.

I just found this site. www.okgun.co.kr

It sells Tokyo Marui guns. Aren't they some of the best?? For example, they sell the Tokyo Marui M4A1 Carbine. I just looked it up on some other site and it shoots at 310 FPS!!

Seems like you can get whatever you like in Korea, no??

See the price of these "toys". The AK47 is over 400,000KRW. My friend
in Canada bought a real Chinese Norinco AK47 for about that price before
the urban liberals banned assault weapons.

See this airgun:

This is rated at 1000fps. THAT is a pellet gun.

Check out: http://www.beeman.com/

Anyway, the only way to know for sure is to have a Korean friend
call that guy and ask if you need a license or whatever.

Ya, i know what pellet guns are......grew up in the country and had several rifles and hand guns.

I just want a new toy.....an automatic airsoft gun of some kind.

I'll find out what the laws are and report back.

I have no issue with people liking to shoot things with pellet/BB guns, but I must say I'm frightened that people seem to actually CARE about this. I mean, some of the comments here imply that people keep up on BB gun trends and quality. Is there a hobby site where people go to catch the latest airgun rumors and news?

I have two RSW pellet/air rifles. Both crack guns (one front barrel, other side lever) and get over 1350 FPS. Pretty amazing considering they are both single action crack "no CO2". Not cheap, though they were about 300$ apiece when i bought them back in the early 90s. German made high tech precision.

I have that back home. I used to play with it a lot in High School. Could go through two sheets of glass (the front and rear windsheilds of a wrecked TransAm). It had better accuracy and penetrated surfaces better than my .22 could.

I suppose this makes me a redneck.

So? I have a couple break-down pellet rifles at home and a .22. There is nothing wrong with sitting in my friend's yard and blowing up old beer bottles. I plan on doing that at least once when I go home between contracts.
