From what I've seen:
- people who want some adventure and to live in another country
- certified teachers who want to get some experience for their resume
- certified teachers who want to try something different and then go back home
- certified teachers who can't get teaching work back home
- people who can't get a better job back home, or who want to save some money in a country with a fairly low cost of living
- new college grads who want to try something different before going home to go to grad school or start a career in their home country
- a mix of all the above |
