I have a decent quiver in the US, and I'm interested in bringing my fish and short back to Korea for travel. How do the airports treat your boards? I've never seen someone with boards at Incheon, and once when I took my bike with me it was a pain in the @ss to get checked in. Just wondering your experiences. |

im not sure about the rest of korea but the parts ive visited didnt really seem surfable. Even the parts where there are waves, they break much to close to the beach.
its not a bad place to windsurf though.
id do some checking about before you bring your board and find out if its worth your while. but from what ive seen, i wouldn't bother. |

Maybe there are spots worth surfing but from what I've seen the sea around Korea is remarkably calm. I think the only time I've ever seen it when it was possible to surf was during a typhoon. All other times it has looked more like a lake than what I was brought up to understand as 'sea'. |
