Are there any stores where I can buy cider? I've found Somersby at Lotte mart, for $2 a bottle, but that's about it. Problem is that I don't really like Somersby because it's very sweet. I'm looking for Strongbow or Blackthorn, or anything similar.

Has anyone seen it at Homeplus or E-mart? Maybe a store in Itaewon?

I realize I can go to a pub in Itaewon for cider, but it's a little far from me so I'd love to stock up my fridge with it.

E-mart next to Gongdeok Station has Strongbow. I'm pretty sure Homeplus at World Cup Stadium has Strongbow as well. They definitely sell Tesco Finest cider.

I bought some at Gallaria (the basement) by Apgujeong Rodeo Station.
It was from South Africa, and is called Hunter`s.
It is really good.

Lots of foreign food there. The bakery looked good.

I have seen Strongbow. I think it was at Lottle Mart by Seoul Station.

I've seen a couple of ciders on offer at my local Homeplus. The Strongbow is on sale just now. They recently introduced the Tesco Finest Cider for 5,000won. I don't know if it's any good though.
I do know their Tesco Finest Double IPA is made by Brewdog who are a great brewery. Not sure it's worth the 10,000won asking price though.

There's smallish bottles of Strongbow in my local Homeplus. Can't remember the exact price but I have a sneaking suspicion it was way high for the teeny size.

Yeah - I noticed that last weekend, was close to w4,000 per bottle at Homeplus.

But they sometimes have it on offer. I was loving the mix and match beers sale the had last year 5 bottles for w10,000!

Shame they don't have Bulmers! But I guess it would be over 10,000 a bottle anyway!!!

Homeplus usually stocks around 6 different brands of Cider including Bulmers at 6,700won per bottle. The Tesco finest cider is very dry and a decent drink. They also stock Strongbow, Somerby and a couple of New Zealand produced brands. Its surprising how easy cider is to get.

Dongdaemun Homeplus (Yongdu Stn):

Magners (330ml bottles W3300 and 440ml cans around W5000)
Magners Pear
Bulmers (UK pint 568ml bottle / W6800)
Tesco Finest (500ml bottle / W5000, made by Thatchers)

I was too busy filling the trolley with the above to pay much attention, but they had some off-brand stuff as well
