Hi there, I'm not sure if anyone can help here with this question or not, but it is worth a try. As of 2010 I've read that adding an additional workplace is now possible without the permission from your current employer as long as that work place meets the standards of the current visa (e-2, such as being a teaching place). So I ask the question, has anyone gone to immigration and added a work place without the knowledge and consent of their employer? And if so, is it possible to do this and keep your current employer entirely in the dark on the matter? My current employer has some pretty petty standards for allowing outside work, but if it is okay with immigration, well... Or perhaps immigration does contact your current employer during the adding process and informs them? Just curious. |
