서울, 대한민국 �카마라타 뮤직 컴퍼니의 합창단과 오케스트라가 연주하는�바흐의 B단조 미사� 공연이 5월 11일 토요일 저녁7시 30분�정동제일감리교회�에서 열린다 (34-3 정동, 중구[시청역]).

The B Minor Mass by Johann Sebastian Bach is widely considered one of the best pieces of choral work ever written. �One of the pinnacles of human achievement,� says novelist Douglas Adams. �The greatest work of music of all ages and of all peoples,� says critic and publisher Hans-Georg N�geli. An earlier and shorter version of the mass was first performed in 1733 for the court in Dresden, Germany. In 1745 Bach expanded the work into a full mass.
바흐의 B단조 미사곡은 이제까지 쓰여진 합창곡 중 가장 훌륭한 작품 중 하나로 손꼽히는 명곡이다. 소설가 Douglas Adams는 �인류의 성과물 중 가장 뛰어난 것들 중 하나� 라고 극찬하기도 했다. 평론가이자 출판가인 Hans-Georg N�geli는 �모든 세대와 문명을 통틀어 가장 훌륭한 곡�이라고 평했다. 초창기 짧은 버전의 합창곡은 1733년 독일의 드레스덴 지방 법원에서 공연되었다. 이후 1745년 바흐가 이 곡을 전체 합창곡으로 확장시켰다.

Under the direction of Ryan Goessl(라이언게슬), the CMC Chorale & Orchestra will be joined by soloists, Soprano MyungSung Han (한명성), Counter Tenor Minho Jung (정민호), Tenor BokNam Kim (김복남), and Bass YoungHwan Park (박용환).
CMC 합창단와 오케스트라는 라이언 게슬의 지휘아래, 소프라노 한명성, 카운터 테너 정민호, 테너 김복남,그리고 베이스 박용환과 함께 한다.

The �B Minor Mass� marks the fourteenth production in CMC�s regular concert series.
이번 �B 단조 미사� 공연은 CMC의 14번 째 정기공연이다.

Tickets: 15,000 won in advance(예매); 25,000 won at the door(현장). An additional 10% discount will be offered to groups of 20 or more who purchase tickets in advance.
티켓은 예매시 15,000원, 현장 구매시 25,000원이다. 20인 이상 단체 예매시 10% 추가 할인을 제공한다.

Advance tickets for the B Minor Mass may be purchased from CMC Chorale members or via bank transfer. 티켓 예매는 CMC 멤버를 통하거나 은행 송금을 통해 할 수 있다.
