The Korea Times is a trash rag that is a long-standing joke within the expat community. Its made up stories, xenophobic hit pieces, and atrocious editing have earned it quite a reputation. The only contributer I would read was Michael Breen, but he seems to have left that paper a couple of years ago. I always wondered if he quit or got fired. I would chuckle at his articles because they were often written in a way that criticized Korea but in a way that Koreans wouldn't pick up on. The editoe would accept the article and publish it unaware that Korea was getting a drubbing.

Did the geniuses at the KT finally catch on to him, or did he reclaim his self-respect and tell the fools where they could shove their rag of a newspaper?

I've wondered the same. I know Samsung blew a gasket a few years back when Breen wrote a column in the KT ripping it's leadership- Sammy sued him and forced him to apologize. Not sure if he wrote much more after that. I think most people feel he is far too talented for the paper.
