ever wonder why so many of your students wear glasses? Well, it turns out its not from watching zotto tv every night.
people who do more outdoor activities/spend time outdoors will have better eyesight than people who focus on objects near to them and spend time indoors (not ground breaking news but at least theres more evidence to substantiate the claim).
So maybe there is some truth in the myth that people who wear glasses are smarter?
Do yourself a favour, go outside this weekend |

Who cares if people have glasses or not?
It's good for kids to play outside. It's good for kids to read books. |

No - it's good for kids to do both in moderate amounts. Not just "to do it" |

i care if i have glasses or not. i do alot of sports and glasses would be a hinderance. i also dont want to have worse eyesight when i get older than i do now or did when i was a kid.
at the very least, if we humans have knowledge, we should share it with others and hopefully give a better quality of life, whether now or in the future.
thats why it matters if kids are wearing glasses. |

| Tons of pro-athletes where glasses. Just don't notice it because they're usually wearing contacts. |

If I had to choose between my kids reading a lot of books and having glasses or running around outside and not having glasses, I'd take the glasses.
Are college grads really valuing outdoor play time over reading books? |

Not the best sampling of college grads here. |
