My wife and I are wanting to come to Korea. I have a four year degree and am an English teacher in the states. She does not have a degree, but we have been told by recruiters that she could still come on a spousal visa.

That's great and all, but I was wondering if there is anything my wife could do while I'm working. Can she volunteer at the school or be an un-paid assistant? I know she cannot work legally, but it would be nice to have some sort of community she could be a part of, even if she is not making any money.

Does anyone know the answer to this??

The short answer is that there is nothing of the sort that she can legally do.

The longer answer is that there will be opportunities that will present themselves to her for her to become involved locally in her neighborhood.
Use of common sense and discretion is needed.
