Hello, I am working on getting all of my required documents together for a public school job in Korea. I was a transfer student, so I did my first two years at a junior college, where I received an associates degree, and then my final two years at a university where I got a bachelors degree. Do I need to get official transcripts for both schools, or would I only need them for the university I attended? Thank you. |

All that is needed for Immigration is an apostilled notarized copy of your Bachelor's degree certificate. Your Associates isn't important, they just need your Bachelor's, because you have to have that to get a visa. Don't forget to send also send immigration an apostilled FBI CBC. Immigration does not require transcripts although I don't know about the MOE which handles some of the districts in Korea.
If you are teaching in the districts handled by the MOE they will require documents also , the same documents (Apostilled FBI CBC, Apostilled Notarized Bachelor's). I don't know if they require official transcripts or not, but if they do they'll want your bachelor's transcripts not your associate degree transcripts. |
