Hi, sorry if this question's been asked and answered, I'm having no luck with the search function.

My sister is coming to visit me in July, and we plan to take a short trip to Japan. She will be travelling on an Irish passport, does she need any sort of re-entry permit to be able to go to Japan for a few days and then come back to Korea?

Thanks!

No, Ireland is a member of the Euro Economic Union. She comes and goes between Japan and South Korea as she pleases with 3 month entry stamps. The only problem she might have is making sure she has an onward ticket somewhere when she re-arrives.

She'll have her ticket for her onward flight home 10 days later, so that should be fine! Thanks for your help!
