Hello all! I'll be finishing up my first year of teaching in August in Cambodia. I would like a month or two off to travel and see my family. Is there any chance that I can get a full-time position starting these months?
I will have 1 year experience with a 5th grade class, a BA in Speech Communication and Sociology, and a TEFL/TESOL certificate. Certificate was done through a groupon and says it's worth 120 hours, though it's debatable if schools will agree. It seems pretty competitive in S. Korea, so I would really appreciate advice concerning starting dates and what I would qualify for. Thanks! |

yes, hagwons hire pretty much all year, although december it slacks off a little.
Epik school system however, is a very very rare thing to get - basically you'd have to get in after the previous teacher does a runner. You definitely qualify for it, so I'd go ahead and try for it. |
