Hello,

Please bear with me, but the other night I inputted my PIN for my CIBC debit card multiple times incorrectly. I have a different PIN than my Korean debit card for safety purposes, so I hope you can understand how I messed up.

Now, I called my banking institution just now and they said that I need access to a CIBC ATM machine in order to reset my PIN. Well, as far as I know, there are no CIBC ATMs in Seoul, so they said they can't really do anything for me for the short-term and they suggested that I send the card back to a family member and have them reset it for me (it's a joint-account with another family member.

But before I do that, I was wondering if there was in fact a CIBC ATM in Seoul. My friend said there's a Bank of America ATM in the American embassy, so I'm just trying my luck here.

I'm pretty sure you are SOL. There are no CIBC banks here. I had issue with my card as well where I had to do something "in person or at a machine" - had to wait 6+ months until I took a trip to Canada.
