I've heard good things about Sogang. Sogang, Yonsei, and Ewha are all centrally located in a great area of Seoul. The SNU hood is comparatively booooorrrriinnnggg.....
Sure, you'll be here to study, but that doesn't mean you won't want to have a good time. Why commute to the fun? |

I studied at Sogang for a year. The lower levels are excellent (1-5). The advanced levels are a little less organized and not structured as well. I think you'd benefit more from Yonsei at the advanced levels. Both schools are located in a great area. |

Thank u for those informations
i heard a lot about sogang ,almost everybody is satisfied with their program + as u said the uni is situated in a good area, but i don't find infos about dorms (for language students) . Yonsei is less apreciated but who knows.. they say that it's a bit difficult and focus on grammar more than anything else.
SNU is good too but as u said borred and situated really far from everything, but the dorms are 1million cheaper than the other dorms (i don't know why!)
anyways i'll study there less than 1year so i have to choose the university whitch will give me the best formation (to be able to have best grad in TOPIK) so that i can enroll for a good uni in the future (it doesn't mean that i don't wanna enjoy :3
maybe i ll go for sogang for lvls 2, 3 and switch into SNU for the last lvls?
i think that i ll study design in kyung hee university , to have scholarship i should attend 6th lvl, it isn't necessary to have it in the same university right? |

I'm not sure about dorms, but there are loads of goshiwon (고시원 - very small dorm-like rooms) and hasukjip (하숙집 - boarding house) in the area across the street from Sogang. I imagine many of the language students stay in those places. |

Yes it's true. There are so many in the Sinchon area. Book a hostel for the first couple of days and wander around Sinchon for a hasukjip or goshiwon. They have a ton of foreign students so they are used to foreigners looking for a room with limited Korean. |

They both will provide a very small room to stay in. A goshiwon is cheaper, but doesn't provide meals. |
