How's it going?

A group of comedian friends and I are doing a little three day comedy tour next month.

We already have Friday booked (Suwon) and Sunday booked (HBC/Itaewon).

We're looking for a Saturday venue. We are pretty much up for going anywhere that would be a good spot to have a show and could get a nice crowd.

Have any ideas? We want to do a different city. Currently talking with some bar owners in Incheon and Daegu but nothing set in stone yet.

I think LA comedian Danny Cho just performed in Seoul and Busan. Might wanna find out what clubs he played at.

Danny Cho performed at a club called Lucidream in Itaewon, though I'm not sure about the turnout. It seemed like a really strange place to host a comedy event.

Rocky Mountain Tavern in Itaewon has also hosted comedy events. They have a decent setup on the second floor that seems to be pretty good for a 50-100 head room.

I would opt for the second one.

Orange Tree (HBC) always has comedy, but that might be the place you've already booked.

According to Danny Cho's twitter feed, he is performing at Spazio Luce on May 17 (today if you're in Korea).

Lots of standup comedians visiting Korea recently.

I saw the Danny Cho performance... it was at club lucid dream... not the best venue as they only had like 20 chairs and basically they had a bartender scooping ice loudly the entire time...

If you are command a name brand, Today they have standup comedians from the USA (big names) performing at Renaissance Hotel.

However, if you are small time... I recommend you go to BAR AMERICANO in Itaewon.
