Several times now at my local Starbucks I've been at the cream 'n' sugar station only to discover the cream is gone? Where could it be? Oh there it is! Sitting on a table withe some cream hogging koreans who feel they have a right to monopolize the cream. Wrath! Word up Korea! put the cream back when you are finished creaming your coffee-based-beverage!
Mr. Manners is watching!

I've noticed this too. Usually a collection of middle aged salary men grab the cream and can't figure out to close the door behind them when they come in, letting all the a/c out.

Just caught another group of 20 something K-girls holding the cream hostage. Boy were their faces collectively crimson when the Opie was done with them.

I love cream.

So when the authors of Lonely Planet: Korea write about Asians being lactose intolerant, what they really mean to say is lactose intolerable?

Yet again, this time at a Coffee Bean and Tea leaf, the sugar was no where to be found. A quick scan of the horizon revealed said sugar to occupy a space on a table with a gaggle of K-hens. Confidently I cosied up to their table, stir stick in hand, and sweetened my coffee while all looked on in bemused silence. Sweet Victory!
