Price was dropped. Throw me some offers, reasonable ones won't be turned down. |

I'm sure I'm not the only person who would be uncomfortable with someone I don't know watching me at the ATM or escorting me to the bank, your worry is fake bills, mine would be you grabbing my money and doing a runner. |

Ah, good point.
In that case, then we can simply meet in a bank in the Hongdae area (one of the actual banks with tellers and a sitting area), you can check out the notebook, and we can do the transaction there.
I've done numerous transactions this way back in Vancouver, so I can't really see a problem. |

Fake bills are pretty rare here, never heard of them personally, so I wouldn't be worried OP. There are watermarks you can check too. |

Hey! I have the Toshiba one in here.
250 writes and 450 reads makes the notebook really zippy. |

Counterfeiting occurs everywhere around the world, so there is no reason to be more or less concerned about it here. In fact, I read a warning on Craigslist about a Korean scammer buying goods from foreigners with fake bills.
There is no harm in exercising caution just in case. |
