Get stocked up!
Also non perishable food/charcoal - anyone live on the 20th floor better get used to walking up the stairs! 
Also for teaching - think of some non internet/ppt based activities - No CD yay!
Cash - you need cash!
If you've got a car keep the tank full!
If the power does go � it could be out for over a weeks once the chain reaction starts! |

| I just bought some candles and gas, but that's mostly because I'm planning on doing some camping for the long weekend. I suppose if your delusions become a reality, I won't regret it. |

(If/When) there are power outages. They don't just flick a switch and 'magic' electricity comes out again!
If there is a power outage that isn't 'controlled' there is a very real possibility that the power could be out in some areas for over a week!
At least you'll be able to come on to Dave's to ask for help - Oh wait.................  |
