Hey friends and fellow Songsaengnims.

I just thought I'd share a teaching resource I made for teaching ESL in Korea, if anybody is interested. It helped me a lot.

I had two objectives:

1. Teach the most common English vocabulary ASAP so students could understand me.

2. Learn Korean at the same time. (because learning Korean makes you the most indispensable teacher there is, given the enormous language barrier.)

What I came up with was a big series of vocabulary music videos. I used to use them in the public schools a lot. It was really cool. Throw the vids on the big screen, print a copy for everybody..and you're flying!

Here's the whole system neatly organized. I call it, "Mr Bondaygee's English", since my Korean nickname was "James Bondaygee" after the "bondaygee song" (번데기 송) I made some time ago.
