Hi,

I have just been offered a position teaching at the Daejeon Reading Town school in the daeduck gu region. I was just wondering if anyone had any information on this school? good or bad!

Thank you

I worked at a Reading Town in Seoul years ago and it was 110% perfect. That's not to say the branch you're asking about will be, but I'd jump at the offer if it was me and I was wanting to work at a hagwon.

Hey there! I have not personally worked at a Reading Town, but a quick forum search gave me a thread from 2011. Someone asked the same question as you and received two pertinent replies. One poster said the Reading Town in Seoul is great and the other said the Reading Town in Daejeon is terrible. It is from 2011 though, so things/management might have changed.

My best advice is to sit down for 2 hours and dedicate yourself to research. Find every blog possible and every snippet of information or review.

As a side note, it looks like a lot of the Daejeon Reading Town teachers are on LinkedIn, so you might want to consider setting yourself up a profile and try to connect with them Smile Hope that helps!
