Can anyone recommend a free, wi-fi zone in Seoul, particularly one that doesn't require a password? Department stores, shopping malls, coffee shops, etc.
Thanks. |

The best places are cafes, you can just stand outside of them to use their wifi... or go inside. Nescafe, Starbucks, Holly Coffee, etc.
I've found a free wifi connection called something like SeoulWifi around Yongsan/Sinyongsan station, and Itaewon station... maybe it comes from the Namsan tower? Not sure.
Before I had a phone, I'd usually keep my wifi list open and resfreshing as I walked along the sidewalk. I always found something within every couple of blocks. |

Guro Digital is virtuall Wifi-everywhere area.
SeoulWiFi, anygate, iptime and a few more less common are available almost on crosswalks even.
(I have iptime in my officetel, it's faster than my Olleh 100/100 LOL!) |
