I have been told that certain parts of a decent build are very easy to get rid of, but I want to be smart about it.

Parts include

i5 3750k
gtx 650ti 2gb
2 samsung 500 gb drives
1 intel ssd
500w enermax psu
avermedia capture card (720p)
wireless card
bitfenix outlaw in white

also got the biggest dumbest fan I could find, the noctua nh d14

gonna have to bring the components I want to keep in my luggage to avoid paying import duties (not that I would have the money anyway), so any advice on packing this stuff would be much appreciated as well!

Why not sell it all in one? Quite a good system that. Why don't you have the RAM listed?
Oh and there'll be trolls that have no intention of buying trying to drive the value of your PC down, don't let em. That rig is worth maybe 700-800? At a quick glance, might well be more. How big is the SSD? How much are you looking to get for the PC? Your best bet is Craiglist, people who are actually looking to buy tend to frequent there.

You're not hoping to bring the case back with you are you? It's a bit big, and Bitfenix have announcements around the corner, my advice would be to get rid of it. Your processor will be fine in its original box... really only the GPU and extra cards should be the trickiest. If you have all the original packaging, I don't see a problem.

As of my experience in years of assembling a rig, Waygeek is right, why not sell it as a whole, they will just barter your items if you sell it by parts and its going to take you a lot of time looking for a buyer, not unless your not in a hurry to sell it. But if your going to build another rig when you got home definitely I would go for the processor, MOBO and the RAM is the safest to bring, this one will not be easily be damaged when you put it in your luggage even if its really bumpy on your trip, besides the PROC, MOBO & RAM combining these three items is like you've already bring your own RIG on your way home.

the Case, PS, KBM and DVD Rom are very cheap you can use the money that came from the SOLD rig and build a NEW one.

If I were you I would just pack the cpu/mb/vid/ssd in your suitcase. You shouldn't get charged import taxes. Then rebuild the system at home.

oh my god I totally forgot to include the tv - a niceish lg ips tv/monitor that I picked up for about $240.

so I don't know what to do aout that one specifically, because of the fact that it's 220 volt. I can just buy a transformer in yongsan, no big deal but if there's a more elegant solution I'm all ears.

and aside its the bulkiest piece, but $240 was a pretty good price. however I have no idea if it's gonna be a good price over in the states or what.
