We've been out for over a month, and my little sister said that she'd send us some, but she usually takes her sweet time, and we'll probably get it around December at this rate. Does anyone know where I could find some? Does anyone want to sell us some or trade for some fresh-baked cinnamon-raisin bread? The foreign market didn't have any last week when I checked, unless I missed it.

My breakfast porridge isn't the same without it.

Dunno, but respect for putting marmite in your porridge.

Did you try the store 'foreign food mart'? You know vegemite's the same deal as well right? People like to argue about it like conoisseurs, but whatever.

Vegemite is for criminals. Marmite is for scholars and gentlemen.

I kid! I kid!

It's not the same stuff, though. I usually use the UK stuff, but even NZ Marmite would work in a pinch.

lol. Marmite has a slightly richer flavour with toast and butter, but when I was in the UK I was quite happy with Sainsbury's or Tesco's version to be honest, don't seem worth the extra for 0.1% taste. I guess I'm just a yeast extract philistine.

By way of a bump, I'd also like to focus the question of whether we can find Marmite for sale outside Seoul, particularly in Gwangju (Jeollado) and Busan.

Anyone ever seen it for sale on store shelves recently, even in Seoul?

http://www.britishcornershop.co.uk/

I've used this company before - super fast del time 4-5 days!

Maybe you and your friends could chip in and buy some small (light) things you miss from back home?

And then share the shipping cost?

Or just splurge and fill a box or two yourself!

I've used it once. The package took a week to come (that was my fault) coz I ordered some of the UK 'gifts' things for a Korean friend - so the UK company had to order them first.....

If you just order food on say a Monday, Id expect it to be here by Friday, the next Monday at the latest.

As for ordering chilled stuff - No, that would be just @$@ stupid! Razz

The 2kg boxes are about the size of a shoe box, so it's better to order small + light things if you can - then you get more 'bang for your buck'

The good thing about this company is you can see how full your box is getting as you shop!

There service was great BTW!
