thought I would give an update....
arrived in Korea with no problems
employer picked me up from airport
first two weeks I worked 3 hours a day with pay and lunch
employer paid for my trip to Japanto get visa
you CAN get visa no problem from Japan even if you work at a private school
employer also paid for medical
so all good!!!
