Hey, I am thinking about getting a dog here, and then fly it home when my contract is up. I am just wondering is there anyone who has experience doing thing and could walk me through what to expect if I do. Thank you. |

If you are in Seoul, try these vets. I moved to the UK and they organized all the paperwork. Ask for Soo Hee, she manages the import/export of pets.

Took all the hassle out of moving and the price was great. Soo Hee was wonderful and kept me informed all through the process.
Forgot to add, Soo Hee is great at speaking English and so were the vets and nurses I dealt with. |

WHY? WHY? WHY?
Can't you wait?
Besides the likely cramped conditions you and your dog will be living in whilst you stay in Korea - and the cost of flying fido home (besides the stress of it all for it).
I'm sure there are plenty of needy dogs in ire too!
WAIT! |

Hey GB,
Thanks for the reply.
I was wondering also how did you get the dog on the plane, and how did it work if you had connecting flights? For Ireland, it takes at least one connection. Did you have to through specialized airlines?
Thank you too Lucas for the reply, and I have thought a lot about, and still am hence asking the questions. |

Hey zoeksk,
Your article was really helpful and informative.
Could I ask you some questions? In France, was it easy to bring your dog through customs and into the country? And if everything was good, did it make it easier bringing your dog from France to England?
Thank you. |

I haven't gone yet so I can't really say how easy it was, but I can say my method saves $1000's of dollars I go next April or sooner if I can work out how to get my key money back, however I know someone going in August and I've asked him to let me know how it goes |

Soo Hee organised everything for me. I got all the vaccinations etc, bought a travel crate, all through the vets in Itaewon. Soo Hee collected the dog from my house, took him to the airport, send me pictures, kept me informed at every stage. My dog transferred in Europe. It was a really painless experience and my dog was fine. The process is not that expensive.
Contact Soo Hee and I'm sure she'll help if she can. |

Thanks again from both of you. zoeksk, I may message you in August to find out how everything went with your friend. GB, your method sounds very good too, but I worry about the price. How much did you spend? |
