In the US you typically get two checkups a year that are covered by insurance. Now I know Korea isn't the US, but does NHIC only cover a certain amount of visits a year? I don't mind paying $60 or so every few months for a routine checkup. But I do not want insurance to only cover one every six months and I go in and have to pay a lot more. |

Apparently just as of this month one cleaning (scaling, Korean 치석제거) per year is now covered by insurance, so the price is a bit over 10,000 instead of 60-80,000 for that one time. Also if you're over 75 dentures are covered too. |
