my aircon is very old, and completely saturated in mold inside over all the fins, surface, everything.

are there deep clean sort of air con services in Korea that can get rid of that stuff, and make it completely free of mold? Any idea of the cost if this is possible? I don't want to use the thing unless all the fins are cleared.

I'm in the cheonan area.

I can't help you find one, but they are services that do that. We had ours cleaned and the coolant refilled for 30,000 won. The guy said that the larger ones cost up to 100,000 won. It took him about 10 minutes and he came the same day that we called. The call took longer than the service, because I had to use my cavegirl Korean-language skills.
