Hi! Just wondering maybe what are the best suggested times or months of the year to try and get a teaching job? I've read somewhere about February and August, is that somewhat true? What about May? I appreciate any feedback, thanks! |

Most jobs come up at the start of the Spring and Autumn (Fall) terms. Therefore Feb/March and Aug/Sept are the peak times. There are jobs that come up around May time but mainly Hagwon roles, publics school fall into the peak category. |

The main recruitment programs like EPIK/GEPIK do their recruiting in April/May for August job starts and Nov/Dec for March 2nd job starts.
The remainder of unfilled PS jobs are usually filled through private recruitment in Feb/March and Aug/Sept.
Hagwons hire year round with no real peaks or valleys in overall recruitment.
