I'm a two time visitor to Korea having worked there in a couple of Hagwons: initially back in the great days of the early 2000s and later, as a postgrad student 6 years later. Huge changes across that period. I had contemplated a uni job more recently. But instead, at least in the short term, myself and a couple of pals are thinking of heading out for a 2/3 week trip to revist old places and haunts, as well as see new things. What would you recommend say for a 2-week itinerary? Not interested in larging it up in Seoul (although probably spend a couple days there) would like to get a nice blend of natural sights and food and fun. |

id try busan for a couple of days (beaches, nampo dong, temples, fish market etc).
gyeongju is ok if you like parks and history and riding round on bikes and scooters.
green tea fields?
some of the islands? take a boat over.
and gangwon do is quite pretty in general, loads of caves and a couple of decent museums and a big casino up there. maybe need a car to get about though. |
