Fellow waygooks......
My plan is to FINALLY get a water dispenser in my home soon.
I worry about the chemicals from plastic bottles.
Some say that they are safe so long as you don't re-use them.
Do you use a water dispenser OR bottles???
Best wishes!!! |

I used tap water. Never had a problem with it. |

My girlfriend and I have a water cooler and pay W10,000 for two big jugs at a time, which last about a week each. It's really nice though, because it can also dispense hot water instantly. So it's great for making oatmeal, tea, and that sort of thing. That said, the water jugs are still plastic, so who knows how safe it is verses drinking the trace heavy metals in the tap? There's no way to scientifically pinpoint that water from plastic containers has directly caused adverse health effects. That's how all these big companies can get away with cutting corners, isn't it? |

Isn't this the same argument about drinking from metal containers as well? Doesn't it depend on the type of plastic used as well. There are different numbers for different plastics and some are better than others. |
