Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anyone knew of any agency or hagwon that typically offered contract durations of less than a year (perhaps around 6-8 months)? Is this something that just doesn't happen in South Korea?
Any help is appreciated!

If you are sitting in your living room at home in your home country it doesn't happen.
If you are qualified, on the ground and ready to work it sometimes happens (depending on the desperation of the hagwon).

Couldn't you just come and work and about four months in or whatever notice time is required just say that you want to leave at the six or seventh month? Just say that you're going to grad school. That's what I'm thinking of doing, but for me it's because I don't really like the hagwon and I'd like to try SE Asia. Is this a good idea? Maybe it's a bad idea not to work for the bonus and the flight out. But I think I'd be happier. |
