I have a friend who is a dual citizen of the U.K. and the U.S. He overstayed his visa a couple of years ago and was banned from entering Korea on his British passport. He came back using his U.S. passport. He was issued a new E-2. Now he's paranoid. He thinks immigration will eventually figure out his game. Should he worry? Is this illegal? Thanks.

IF he was actually banned (labeled persona non grata) then he has some worry.

IF not then no worry.
