Well, since I live at my hagwon, I just heard my WJN yelling at students on their way out the door...

Are you friggin' kiddin' me? It's bad enough they're there at 11pm, but do you really need to be tearin' them a new pooper 'cause they're complaining about being hungry? (not like they get dinner or anything... a bowl of ramen is NOT dinner)

That's a drag. Korean children need to get a break.

What do I hear right now? I'm in downtown Phnom Penh, its actually 9 P.M. here, and I hear children playing in the streets. Unfortunately, they have the opposite problem of Korean children, as school for any of them seems to be quite rare, and they play in the streets and beg all day.

What a strange world we live in.

lush72,

Are you accusing Koreans (hogwan owners) of not following or enforcing laws?

Please remember Korea is wonderful.
Have you seen the great promotional videos?
"Dynamic Korea, the Hub of Asia" introduces the Korean economy, culture, sports, IT industries, and many more, as seen through the eyes of foreigners.
http://www.korea.net/learnaboutkorea/library/video_korea.html

There are numerous job opportunities. You can get a job and sometimes free housing. Koreans will even try to help if your housing is sick.
