Sorry all, but I didn't find the search function to be very helpful with my situation.
I was recently looking at my payslips (I work at a hagwon)...not sure how formal/legitimate it really is as the owner just fills in the amounts by hand. From my salary they itemize deductions for tax, rent deposit, medical insurance, internet, gas, electricity, and building maintenance. The amounts themselves don't raise any red flags, as they're in line with numbers I've seen quoted on Dave's before. However, no where are pension contributions listed. Based on this payslip do I assume I have no money going into a pension that I can collect later (I'm Canadian)? Or that they may have incorrectly labelled the tax column?
I'm not worried about the medical. I did receive an official looking booklet with my info typed up.
I'm going to speak with the owner Monday, I just wanted opinions on the matter. The pension office will also be on my to do list. |
