Hi I would like to apply to teach at a 2-year Community College/University here in South Korea.
I am having a difficult time finding information about where they advertise for job opportunities, I have done multiple searches on Google and Yahoo however the search has not provided any information.
Can anyone please guide me as to where I can either find a list of 2-year Colleges in South Korea or where they advertise.
Thanks! |

Most 2-year places hire few (if any) full time foreign instructors. They usually hire from a uni as part-timers (yay on OT for me!).
Their reasoning was they didn't want to deal with the whole E2 thing, it was just easier and cheaper to get us from our uni, plus it gave them more 'status' to use a FT "uni" instrcutor.
On occasion, the ones that do, post here on Daves.
A quick search found this:

Unless you're bilingual and I mean able to teach in Korean the chances are that you won't be employed by a 2 year college.
The other problem is 2 year colleges cannot sponsor E2s they can only sponsor E1s which means you need a master's and 2 years teaching experience. |
