http://www.kakaotalkforpc.com/
Tried installing the Android Emulator (BlueStacks) but received the following error message:
CLR error: 80004005. The program will now terminate.
I don't have a smartphone and don't plan on getting one anytime soon. But in Korea, being able to use KakaoTalk is important, at least socially.
I am using an older laptop, running Win XP. Has anyone else had this problem? |

Just installed it on my PC with Windows XP and it works fine. Check your OS version, it requires at least version 10. |

If you already have a smartphone with Kakao already installed and want to also use the PC version you have to do these things:
Open Kakao and choose settings
Scroll down and select PC version
You then need to wait to receive to a message from Kakao which takes about 5 minutes
After you receive the message you can then go to http://kakao.com and download the messenger for PC using your Kakao account details to sign in.

Do you know what 'OS' means? 'operating system'. What is Windows XP? It's your operating system. How do I know that? You just said. What is 'OS X'? It's an operating system, for Macs. |
