I am currently living in South Korea with my husband and two children. They have F3 visas as dependents on my E2 Visa. I heard that their visa is tied to mine. If I transfer my visa to another employer, will theirs transfer as well or how does it work?

I heard before that they would have to get new ones but couldn't figure out why now they didn't.

Any help would be appreciated.

Visa rules have NOT changed for the F3.

You are their sponsor.

As long as YOUR status in the country remains valid (regardless of visa class) then their F3 stays valid.

I changed employers and visas a few times and My wife and daughter never had to do anything for their visa other than to update the change of address when we moved.

Thanks a bunch. Makes me feel easier that it won't be an issue when the time comes.
