Nothing is better guaranteed to make matters worse in the Middle East that for Al Quaida to hear about this. It will send recruitment through the roof. There was a violent uprising against the British in India in the 1850s. The reason was that the British were using fat from beef to line their bullets. When the Hindu soldiers found out about it they mutinied, and riots spread across the country. That, however, is nothing compared to the reaction of Muslims if the story gets out about pork bullets. It will be exploited by the Jihadists and the words will spread that all American troops are using them. You think the reaction against the Koran burning party last year was extreme? Wait till the nut jobs get word of this.
The manufaturer of these bullets is putting American lives in jeopardy. |

that was the first thing that went through my mind when i read this. Youre making the war obviously religious.
Why cant soldiers just be content knowing that they are fresh meat? |

That jerk manufacturer is also ignoring the (for him, inconvenient) fact that there are Muslims who are not only loyal to the US but also serving in the US armed forces.

| Ridiculous since Muslims aren't forbidden to come in contact with pigs. They just aren't supposed to eat them. |

Right. It's playing on the ignorance of people who know little, if anything, about Islam as well as the ignorance of some Muslims who are kept in ignorance by those such as the Taliban. |

Only very few of the Enfield rifles were greased with animal-fat tallow, but it was enough and became the straw that broke the East India Company's back. |

| Funny concept, but stupid to actually produce. But who knows? Maybe muslims will respond by lacing their bullets with semen from homosexuals. Of course, the homosexuals would probably have to be stoned to death after their little contributions. |
