Hey all

My Nintendo DS lite died after years of faithful service. I gotta get my Zelda/Pokemon fix so I'm looking to get a replacement.

Anyone got a good condition DS and/or Gameboy Advance that they'd like to sell me? I'm also interested in game cartridges, depending on what you've got!

Also, just in case nobody's selling, does anyone know where in Seoul I can maybe pick up used Nintendo gear? I'm sure Yongsan is the best choice, but I'm not familiar with the place.

Peace!

There's a second-hand game/console market in Yongsan that is a bit tricky to find. It's not in the main/train station terminal/I'Park mall, but is about a 5-10 minute walk from there. If you arrive at Sinyongsan Station (line 4) and head out of exit 5, you should see an underpass/tunnel that heads towards the electronics markets. Yongsan station will be on your left.

Once you come out of the tunnel, keep your eyes at about 11 o'clock but keep heading straight, eventually up and to the right a bit and you'll hit a crosswalk. Cross the street and on your right you should see an alley that houses mobile phone shops...just past that you'll see the entrance to the used game market. There will be posters/kiosks that should clue you in. Head right/down there and you'll find ALL SORTS of goodies. From current-gen consoles and games to old gems.

Hope this helps.

Cheers for that. It doesn't seem like anyone is selling, so I'll follow your directions and pick up a DS or GBA in Yongsan.

Thanks again.

if you didnt get one, i have a (maybe) first generation ds. Its a bit bulky but it takes the old games (from advance) too and the battery life is incredible. i cut up the old charger from england and created a power charger that is now suitable for korea.
