Yeah, I know Brazil is not just any team, but that's my point.

Admit it....did you know Brazil was ranked that low?

I would have bet, and lost, $500 bucks that Brazil was in the top ten, at the very least.

The protesters will be dancing in the street tonight!

Fred leads Brazil to 3-0 rout of Spain in Confederations Cup final.

I knew... it's because of all the friendlies they've been playing since they are guaranteed a world cup spot. One of the reasons they decided to not have the WC champ guaranteed in a spot since 2006 (I believe).

Also rankings are not to be trusted, when it comes to a an actual competition your track record in friendlies and the odd qualifier don't really matter. Plus things like home advantage have a huge impact, just ask England or South Korea.
