i was just wondering how many of the teachers have studied the korean language? i know that after working for one year, i complained a lot about my job and general problems with korea. after i finished, however, i began studying korean at sogang university (which is a really great program). over the past three months, i've noticed my opinions and feelings towards koreans changing for the better.
so, i wanted to know who here has studied korean, and how you feel that effects your relationships with koreans. |

Definantly in day to day activities I have no stress as i can speak basic conversational and have no problems getting my message across.
This in turn makes it easier to deal with Koreans and you mostly do feel happier at the end of the day as you notice a lot more of the positive things said about you and not just the negative when you are just starting out (why is it you learn the bad words first).
Makes a big difference. |
