Hey guys!
So I'm almost done with my contract at school (july 31) and will not be renewing as I am returning to the states. My ARC expires on Aug 31 so I was thinking maybe I should get into working for any summer camps while I still have some time. Problem is, I was told that my E-2 visa pretty much expires once my contract ends and that I will need to do a visa run to obtain a C-4 in order to do camps. Is there any way around this? If not, what are the necessary documents needed to obtain a C-4 from someone who has been residing in Korea for about a year.

Thanks in advance!

The market in Korea is so flooded, places aren't even bothering to do the paperwork for a C-4 anymore. They are hiring F-visas (or E-2s with permission) because it is easier. Without either of these, it is unlikely you will get a camp job. I'm just telling it like it is: your odds of getting a C-4 are very, very slim. Don't count on it happening. Have a plan B.

Maybe this late in the summer his odds are bad, but I was offered three C4s this summer.

I am very surprised by this. Are you female? For my friends and I, the ability to get C-4s totally dried up.

Yeah I second it, I am American Male and got a summer camp job with C4 visa. I needed same documents as I did my E-2 years ago. I even got hired from abroad.
